As an IT guy and gamer myself ,especially DOTA 2, my drives tend to fill up quite quickly but I had no idea just how big DOTA 2 is.
So I recently ran into some space issues on my laptop and needed to move steam games to another drive.

There is a manual way but I thought I would quickly share this quick, simple and effective way of doing.

  1. Navigate to http://www.stefanjones.ca/steam/ and download the SteamTool Library Manager 1.1
  2. Install the application. Its as simple as double clicking the application and clicking next all the way through. Choose to open the app when complete.
  3. Select your game or games and create a destination folder. In my case D:\Steam

  4. When Read simply click the Start Button
  5. This step could take a while so be patient.

  6. Once complete You should see Success
  7. Open up Dota 2 , COD , CSGO or any other steam game and you should be good to go
Hope you have found this quick tip helpful.
